Enjoy a feast of top class racing and stunning fashions at the region’s most stylish summer event! It’s the East of England’s answer to Royal Ascot on a smaller and much more intimate scale, with racegoers encouraged to dress up in their finest clothes on all three days.
There is only one Newmarket July Festival, but three days to enjoy it!
The fashions will dazzle, the racing will pulsate, the atmosphere will crackle...on these three summer days in July, there's only one place to be!
The quality of the racing is exceptional on all three days, with the glittering highlights coming on the first and last days when the two biggest races are run.
On the Wednesday pride of place goes to the Etihad Airways Falmouth Stakes, one of the top races of the season for fillies, while on the Friday there is all the drama and excitement of Europe's premier sprint race, the Darley July Cup.
The glamour and the fashion are also intrinsic features on all three days. The Thursday may be Ladies Day, but people dress up on the Wednesday and Friday as well with a sensational array of prizes on offer for those deemed to be the best dressed.
The magical trees, the immaculate lawns, the warm sunshine (we hope!), the atmospheric bars and restaurants, the stunning outfits and eye-catching hats, the magnificent thoroughbreds and the electric buzz of the betting ring....all play their part in making the Newmarket July Festival a veritable summer treat.
