On the opening day of the Champagne Lanson July Festival, Abu Dhabi Day, the focus was on hats, handbags, shoes and jewellery, with the lady deemed to be wearing the most stylish accessories in for a fantastic first prize, courtesy of the private air charter company based at Norwich International Airport, SaxonAir, and the magnificent Hintlesham Hall Hotel.

It was a wonderful moment for Laura McClements of Ipswich when she was judged the winner, with Frankie Dettori on hand to make the presentation to her and the two runners-up.

Laura's prize is one she won’t forget in a hurry!  She and three friends will be whisked away in a SaxonAir helicopter on the 30 minute flight from Norwich to Hintlesham Hall where a champagne dinner and overnight stay in two luxury suites awaits them in the beautifully appointed hotel. After a sumptuous breakfast the next morning, they will be flown back to Norwich.  No doubt she spent the night celebrating with the magnum of Champagne Lanson and the Alfresco Summer Hamper from Hotel Chocolat which she also received!

The runner-up was Susan Hall of Newmarket, who wins a top package for four people in the Summer House Restaurant on the July Course. She also took home the “Bubbly Summer Collection” from Hotel Chocolat.

Third place went to Maria Cheslin of Southampton, who wins a four course dinner for two people in the fantastic Great Wilbraham gastro pub, The Carpenters’ Arms, including a glass of champagne and a bottle of wine.  She also won the “Bubbly Summer Collection” from Hotel Chocolat.
