The Craven Meeting: Wednesday 16th April - Thursday 17th April
The first meeting of the 2008 season where race goers cannot only see the brand new stars of 2008 in action for the first time, but also witness several important English Classic Trials.

StanJamesUK Guineas Festival: Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th May
One of the highlightsof the sporting year, this is racing at its purest and best featuring the first two of the British Classics, The StanJamesUK 2000 Guineas race for the colts on the Saturday and The StanJamesUK 1000 Guineas race for fillies on the Sunday.
2008 sees the 200th running of the StanJamesUK 2000 Guineas.
This is a crucial weekend in the international racing calendar, with the world’s best jockeys and trainers competing for glory on the hallowed turf of Newmarket’s historic Rowley Mile Course.
There is no other racecourse in the world that compares to Newmarket’s Rowley Mile – it provides racing unlike any other and The StanJamesUK Guineas Festival is its showcase event. For sheer equine class and brilliance you simply cannot beat it!

Spring Weekend Racing Friday 16th and Saturday 17th May
Racing at The NatWest Rowley Mile is the perfect way to while away a spring weekend at the two-day Spring Weekend Fixture.
Bank Holiday Meeting Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th May, Country Fair Family Fun Day.
The Spring Friday afternoon meeting provides an ideal opportunity to entertain clients or reward staff. Take the afternoon off and enjoy the fun and thrills of an afternoon at the races and build those all important business relationships at the same time!
On the Saturday, the card features a valuable Heritage Handicap, the Coral Sprint, and two significant Listed Races, the King Charles II Stakes,.
The seventeenth annual Countryside Race Day is now an established feature in the Newmarket calendar. There will be a unique blend of top class racing, pony racing, and entertainment for all the family based around countryside activities.
Come and watch the countryside displays, try your luck at the bottle stall, bid for that special lot on the silent auction, visit the shopping village, or enjoy the racing. There will be something for everyone.
