International Races Brochure

Newmarket's four Group 1 for three-year-olds and up - the Darley July Cup, Emirates Airline Champion Stakes, Etihad Airways Falmouth Stakes (French ace Goldikova is seen winning the 2009 race above) and Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes - regularly attract international challengers. This is especially the case for the Darley July Cup, Europe's premier sprint race and one of the British legs of the Global Sprint Challenge which links together the top sprints in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and the UK.
Newmarket, Ascot and York have joined forces to promote their international races jointly to overseas owners and trainers and you can download the full 2010 brochure here. As well as givng all the race details and Global Sprint Challenge information, it explains everything you need to know about shipping a horse to the UK to take part in one of these races.
