Racing UK is a dedicated premier horse racing channel
Racing UK was launched on May 24th 2004, but became a subscription channel in October of the same year. The channel is owned by 30 of the UK’s 60 racecourses, with its profits being returned to the racecourse and being re-invested in racing.
Racing UK broadcasts over 4,000 live races per year from its 30 racecourse owners:

Racing UK - In the home
Broadcast on the sky digital channel 432 and Virgin Media 536/537.
Setanta Sports: Racing UK partnered with Setanta Sports in August 2006, and as a result became part of every Setanta Sport pack subscription sold. Racing UK only earn revenue through subscribers who purchase Racing UK via Racing UK dedicated marketing campaigns, rather than through Setanta marketing. Regardless of who a subscribers purchases Racing through, the subscribers can view the entire Setanta Sports pack (9 sports channels) from their home.
This means we must promote Racing UK across our racecourses, so we ensure we make as much revenue as we can for our 30 racecourse shareholders.
A Racing UK subscription costs just £12.99 a month (plus a registration fee) or £155.99 per annum.
Virgin Media: Racing UK can be viewed when someone purchases the Virgin Media XL package. This was a partnership via Virgin and Setanta, resulting in no monies being returned to Racing UK via this route
Racing UK - For Pubs and Clubs
Racing UK can be bought as a stand alone channel by pubs and clubs. The premises does not require Sky to broadcast Racing UK.

A subscriptions costs £100 per month or £1000 per year

Racing UK is available in 3 million homes across the UK and Ireland.
Racing UK has a reach of approximately 400,000 viewers a month, 200,000 a week and 80,000 on a Saturday.
