Newmarket Racecourses have confirmed the next act in the 2008 Newmarket Nights with Q103 line-up. James Morrison will perform at the July Course on Friday 25th July 2008.
James Morrison broke onto the British music scene in July 2006 at the age of 21 with his distinctive and soulful voice. His debut single “You Give Me Something” became an instant hit in Britain and Europe and his debut album “Undiscovered” released shortly after went straight to number 1 in the British charts. The album went on to be one of the top selling albums of the year in 2006, reaching number 10 in the year end chart.
In 2007, James was nominated for 3 Brit Awards, receiving the award for Best British Male and performed at the V festival and at the Memorial Concert for Princess Diana.
