One of the world’s biggest stars will head the line up for 2008 Newmarket Nights, with Q103, taking Friday nights racing and music to another level!

Canadian rock star, Bryan Adams will perform live with his band at the July Course on Friday 20th June, promising the audience one of the best Newmarket Nights yet. His performance will include some of his best selling hits including ‘Summer of 69’, Have you ever really loved a woman’ and  ‘(Everything I Do), I do it for you.’

Bryan Adams launched his career with the release of his self-titled debut album in February 1980. To date, he has released 10 studio, sold 75 million records worldwide and holds the record for the longest stay at number one in the UK charts over the last 50 years with ‘(Everything I Do) I Do It For You), the theme tune from the motion picture Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves starring Kevin Costner. The song topped the UK charts for 16 weeks and won a Grammy Award at the 1991 awards ceremony. Bryan’s 11th studio album, aptly titled 11 is due for release in March 2008.

Also an acclaimed photographer, he has photographed the likes of Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss, Elle MacPherson, Victoria Beckham, Take That and Lindsay Lohan with his work appearing in magazines, such as British Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Vanity Fair and Esquire and galleries worldwide.

There are a limited number of child admissions priced at £10 each. Once the limited number of child admissions has been sold, children will be charged at the full adult rate.

Newmarket Nights

Newmarket Nights are a series of seven Friday evening race meetings followed by a live concert. The racing gets underway early evening and concludes as nights falls, immediately followed by the post racing, open air concert. The bars remain open until the conclusion of the concert.
