ONE of the most successful bands in British music history, Wet Wet Wet are set to make their debut at Newmarket’s July Course on Friday 17^th August and tickets still available in the Premier Enclosure.

Wet Wet Wet have an incredible back catalogue of hits including three U.K. number ones – ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’, ‘Goodnight Girl’ and, of course, ‘Love Is All Around’ which was used in the soundtrack for ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’. After spending 15 weeks at number 1 in 1994, it is 12^th in the official UK best-selling singles list.

The July Course, venue for Newmarket Nights, has undergone a £10 million re-development over the winter months. This has led to a great improvement in the public facilities and a more enjoyable evening for racegoers who attend the immensely popular Newmarket Nights season.

Managing Director Lisa Hancock said, “We have had very positive feedback since the re-development especially on our Newmarket Nights.” Lisa continued, “The improvements have meant that racegoers can move around the course, get a drink from the bar and place a bet more easily, enhancing their Newmarket Night experience.”

There is also a Best Dressed Lady Competition running throughout the 2007 Newmarket Nights sponsored by local boutique, Fenella’s. A finalist will be chosen at each of the Newmarket Night evening race meetings. The winner will receive a £50 voucher for Fenella’s and 4 Premier Enclosure badges to return for the Grand Final on the final Newmarket Night, Friday 17^th August, for the chance to win £1000 to spend at Fenella’s.

Tickets for Wet Wet Wet are priced at £28 Premier Enclosure. The Grandstand & Paddock and Garden Enclosure have sold out and all discounted child places have been allocated. Premier Enclosure tickets may be available in the gate.
