Adnams Festival of Food & Drink

Thursday 30th September - Saturday 2nd October

The Adnams Festival of Food & Drink, which was staged for the first time in 2009, promises to bring to the Rowley Mile during the 2010 Cambridgeshire Meeting a mouthwatering selection of products made by companies based in the East of England.

Around 20 trade stands will be sampling and selling a wide range of mouthwatering local fare, from gourmet chocolates to tantalising pastries, top quality seafood to sumptuous pies, and wonderful homemade breads to the very best olive oils.  The produce will be headed, of course, by Adnams' own world famous beers and wines.

Cambridgeshire Meeting racegoers will be able to sample many of these wonderful delights and buy produce to take away at the end of the day.

“Everything that can be done to promote the consumption of local produce has to be a positive step in protecting our environment and I hope that over time we can build this festival into an important regional event in its own right,” said Stephen Wallis, Managing Director of Newmarket Racecourses.

PLEASE NOTE:  in order to access the Adnams Food & Drink Festival, you have to be in the Premier or Grandstand & Paddock Enclosures -  racegoers in the Rowley Enclosure on Saturday 2nd October will NOT have access to the Festival.
