Children
Young persons under 18 years of age are admitted free of charge to all enclosures on all race days at both the Rowley Mile & the July Course with the exception of the Newmarket Nights (when a limited number of reduced price young persons tickets for those aged 5-17 are available to purchase in advance when purchasing adult tickets).
Young persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult on the racecourse at all times. However, 16 & 17 year olds will be admitted without an adult.
ICE (In Case of Emergency) wristbands are available for children on request for all Newmarket race meetings. Parents' contact details can be written on the wristbands in case of separation.
Children at Newmarket Nights
There are limited young persons admission tickets available for Newmarket Nights which are available on a first come first served basis. They are priced at £15 for the Premier and Grandstand & Paddock Enclosures and £10 for the Garden Enclosure.
A maximum of 2 child tickets per adult are allowed. Children's tickets MUST be booked at the same time as booking adult tickets (unless the purchaser is an Annual Badge Holder or Newmarket Racehorse Trainer). Additional children will be charged at the normal adult ticket rates.
Enclosure access for children will coincide with the accompanying adult's admission badge.
NSPCC Family Race Day
Don't miss the NSPCC Family Race Day on Saturday 24th July which has a whole host of extra entertainments and is a great way to spend a summer's afternoon with the family whilst, at the same time, contributing to the valuable work of the NSPCC.
Book in advance for NSPCC Race Day and at least £2 of your ticket price will go to support the NSPCC.
Dress Code for Children
Please be aware that the Newmarket Racecourses Dress Code will be applied to children over 12 years of age.
Baby Changing Facilities
Baby Changing Facilities are available in all enclosures at both The Rowley Mile and The July Course.
