Revised X Factor Finalist Line-Up
The line-up of X Factor Finalists appearing in the post-racing concert at the first of the Newmarket Nights has been revised following the announcement today that Lucie Jones has to withdraw "due to unforeseen circumstances". Three of the other five finalists appearing- Olly Murs, Stacey Solomon and Jedward – will now play their normal length set, which is great news for some fans coming to Newmarket's July Course as the Newmarket Nights season, which brings well over 100,000 people to Newmarket over the course of the seven Friday evenings in June, July and August, gets under way for 2010.
"Next Friday's audience will now be able to enjoy a bit more of Jedward, Olly and Stacey, as well as hearing Danyl and Jamie. With so many artists and to make sure everyone got to see all the artists we had shortened some sets, they are now back to the full length for everyone to enjoy, so whilst we are really sorry Lucie is unable to join what is going to be a great night we know that fans will be delighted to see and hear more of Olly, Stacey & Jedward " said Newmarket racecourses' Marketing Manager, Gemma Hussey.
"We still have some tickets available in all three enclosures for next Friday and we will be selling tickets at the gate on the night. On Friday 25th June Spandau Ballet play the July course for the first time with their full arena show and already we have a sell-out in the Garden Enclosure. There are still some tickets available in the other main enclosures and whilst we may have tickets for sale on the night in Premier and Grandstand & Paddock, we can't at this stage guarantee that. Our message is always to book in advance to avoid potential disappointment."
