ENCLOSURES SELLING OUT FAST FOR THE 2010 NEWMARKET NIGHTS
Spandau Ballet (25th June), Madness (6th August) and Simply Red (16th July) have joined Westlife (13th August) as Garden Enclosure sell-outs for this year's Newmarket Nights season with Razorlight (23rd July) certain to join them soon, while the Premier Enclosure is already heading towards full capacity for Spandau Ballet, Simply Red and Westlife.
A total of over 76,000 tickets have already been sold for the seven Night season although for now there is still good availability in the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure for each Friday night.
Gemma Hussey, Marketing Manager for Newmarket Racecourses, said: "We've got a particularly strong set of acts this year and were able to announce the full line-up much earlier than usual. As a result, ticket sales are way ahead of where we were this time last year. Even in a tough financial climate, people still want to come and enjoy the best summer Friday night experience in the East of England!
"We will have a limited number of TVs showing the World Cup matches on racedays, including England vs Algeria which coincides with our opening Newmarket Night on Friday 18th June, so those who want to keep abreast of the football can do so."
The full Newmarket Nights line-up for 2010 is: X Factor Finalists (18th June), Spandau Ballet (25th June), Simply Red (16th July), Razorlight (23rd July), James Morrison (30th July), Madness (6th August) and Westlife (13th August).
Garden Enclosure tickets cost £18, Grandstand & Paddock starts at £22 and Premier Enclosure starts at £28. A limited number of reduced price child tickets (4-17 years) are available for each Enclosure. A £2.50 booking fee (per order not per ticket) will apply to all advance bookings. The concerts start soon after the last of the evening's horse races.
