TWO BRAND NEW FORD FIESTAS TO BE GIVEN AWAY
Two lucky racegoers at the StanJames.com Guineas Festival at Newmarket’s Rowley Mile racecourse on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd May will have cause for major celebrations! Leading bookmaker and Festival sponsor, Stan James, will be giving away a brand new “squeeze green” Ford Fiesta with 2010 number plates in a free prize draw on each day.
Every racegoer at Newmarket on these two days will be able to participate for free, posting their entries in competition boxes around the racecourse.
Prior to Race 5 on the card, the draw will take place with the same number of entries drawn out as there are runners in that race. Each entry drawn out will correspond to a runner, with the list being announced over the public address system and on the big screens prior to the start of the race.
The lucky racegoer who has been assigned the horse that goes on to win Race 5 will take delivery of the car for that day.
“Racegoers can already look forward to two days of world class sporting action, with Saturday’s StanJames.com 2000 Guineas and Sunday’s StanJames.com 1000 Guineas both pivotal international races and part of the fabric of Britain’s sporting heritage,” said Newmarket’s Managing Director, Stephen Wallis.
“We also have a host of free attractions for children on both afternoons, but especially on Sunday which will be a big family day.
“Now, thanks to Stan James, everyone can also look forward to the thrill of the prize draw, with probably around a dozen racegoers each day being assigned a horse in the 5th race and with a sparkling new car awaiting the lucky winner!”
