Simply Red Live on a Summer’s Newmarket Night!
Following on from Simply Red’s phenomenal performance at Newmarket Nights in July 2009, Newmarket Racecourse is delighted to announce their return to the July Course stage on Friday 16th July 2010.
As part of Simply Red’s ‘Live on a Summer’s Night’ tour, this iconic band is the first act confirmed to perform live after evening racing at next year’s Newmarket Nights concert series. It is expected to be one of next summer’s greatest open air concerts and certainly not one to be missed!
With a career spanning over twenty five years in the music industry, Simply Red, fronted by legendary British soul singer, Mick ‘Red’ Hucknall, will be performing hit after hit - from "Money’s Too Tight (To Mention)" and "Holding Back The Years" through to "If You Don’t Know Me By Now", "Stars" and "Fairground".

The Newmarket Nights are the hottest ticket for a summer Friday night out in the East of England! The racing gets under way early evening and concludes as nights falls, immediately followed by a spectacular open air concert by a top band or artiste. The atmosphere sizzles and the bars remain open until the conclusion of the concert.
