Nehaam is Million possible

NEHAAM could be set for a swift return to The NatWest Rowley Mile, having made a winning debut in the E.B.F Warrens of Warwick Maiden Stakes this afternoon.

Trainer John Gosden mentioned that the son of Nayef will come under consideration for the inaugural Timeform Tattersalls Million on Saturday October 4.

Gosden’s charge prevailed by a length and a quarter under Richard Hills today after being backed into 9/2.

He did all his best work at the end of the race which suggests that a step up in trip should prove well within his compass in the future.

Gosden said: “He’s done it nicely and will definitely want further in time. He’s in the sales’ race here so we’ll look at that. On the other hand he’s had a nice race and won today, so we might put him away. I am delighted how relaxed he has been.”
