Little White Lie wins the Ladbrokes Bunbury Cup in July
Little White Lie bids for a second prestigious victory at Newmarket this season when he lines up for the £160,000 totesport.com Cambridgeshire (3.50pm) over nine furlongs on Saturday, October 4.
With the Group One Kingdom Of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes, the Tattersalls Timeform Million and the Tattersalls Timeform Fillies’ 800 on the same afternoon, Saturday’s remarkable card is the richest day’s racing in
The John Jenkins-trained Little White Lie landed the biggest success of his career to date in the seven-furlong Ladbrokes Bunbury Cup on Newmarket’s July Course this summer and heads to The NatWest Rowley Mile course in fine form.
Jenkins revealed today: "Little White Lie is doing fine and we decided that his next run was going to be the totesport.com Cambridgeshire after he ran at Goodwood last time, so we’ll give it a go.
I’m really pleased with the horse, he has run ever so well for me and he seems in good heart at the moment. We’re looking forward to the day and a drop of rain would help but that’s supposed to be coming this week.
"The trip won’t be a problem. I think he’ll stay the nine furlongs, he certainly races as if he’ll stay. Mick Kinane rides him."
