Its the best of the boys at Newmarket Nights
Newmarket Racecourses and local men’s fashion store, Six Whiting Street have joined forces to crown a Newmarket Nights ‘Best Dressed Male’ who will receive a £500 voucher to spend at Six Whiting Street located in Bury St Edmunds, to be presented at the final Newmarket Night on Friday 15th August.
Six Whiting Street has been thoughtfully restored and tastefully decorated to retain its original character. The building, which boasts amazing original features including an uncovered wall painting and grand oak staircase, is a labyrinth of rooms; each themed to showcase clothing collections that range from expertly tailored formal wear through to designer labels and chic casual brands including Nudie Jeans, Y-3, Margaret Howell, Duchamp and Six Whiting Street’s own label ‘Giles Emily’, together some iconic brands such as Paul Smith and Hugo Boss. There is also an emphasis on tailoring, which of course includes made-to-measure services.The Newmarket Nights series begins on Friday 20th June with Canadian rock-star, Bryan Adams followed by Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra on Friday 27th June. This year marks Jool’s 12th performance at Newmarket Nights and he will be joined on stage by Gilson Lavis and special guests vocalists, Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall and Marc Almond, former member of 80’s band, Soft Cell.
Girls Aloud return to Newmarket Nights on Friday 18th July, UB40 with special guest Maxi Priest make their July Course debut on Friday 25th July and Brit 5-piece, The Feeling are set to appear on Friday 1st August.
Madness return on Friday 8th August following on from their spectacular sell-out performance in 2007 and for the finale of Newmarket Nights 2008, Newmarket Nights favourite, Ronan Keating returns with the other original four members of Irish Boyband, Boyzone on Friday 15th August.
Six Whiting Street will have a retail presence across all 7 of the Newmarket Nights, enabling race goers to browse and purchase items from a range of their designer collections.
