Come and support the NSPCC at the races! We are holding our annual Family Race Day on Saturday 26 July 2008.
The NSPCC Family Race Day goes from strength to strength each year and promises, yet again, to be a fabulous, fun-filled day out for all the family.
NSPCC Family Race Day 2008 date announced by Arnie Todd, member of the Race Day committee, Seb Saunders, Champion jockey and Samantha Hyde, Chief Executive of The Camelot Foundation.
There will be a great afternoon of racing as well as lots of attractions guaranteed to entertain visitors of all ages, including a fancy dress competition for children.
Come along and mingle in the Premier Enclosure, cheer the races on from the Grandstand or simply just bring a picnic and enjoy the fun and games in the Garden Enclosure.
There are a variety of ticket options available for the Race Day starting at just £5 per person. You can book tickets online or call the box office on 01638 675500.
All money raised will help the NSPCC continue to run its vital services for local children and young people, including ChildLine, the 24-hour, free and confidential helpline.
Art competition
Once again we are holding an art competition for children to design the front cover of the racecard. The competition will be judged by Samantha Hyde – Chief Executive of The Camelot Foundation (one of the sponsors of the Race Day).

Theme: Dressing up for the races

Age groups: 7 years and under, 8-16 years old
Prizes:
For each age group
- WH Smith’s vouchers: 1st place - £50, 2nd place - £25, 3rd place - £15

Plus for the overall winner
- Your winning picture printed on the front of the race card
