THE NATWEST Rowley Mile is set to be the scene of Passage Of Time’s seasonal comeback, trainer Henry Cecil has revealed.

Khalid Abdulla’s filly was last seen out when finishing a narrowly-beaten third in the Breeders’ Cup Filly&Mare Turf at Monmouth Park.

She has been progressing nicely this spring at home in Newmarket and looked in grand order as she strode out on the gallops this morning.

Passage Of Time, a Group 3 and Group 1 scorer already, moved sweetly under jockey Ted Durcan to master her companion in a spin on the Al Bahathri.

Cecil now has his sights on the stanjamesuk.com Dahlia Stakes, a Group 3 over nine furlongs for four-year-old fillies and upwards on Saturday May 3.

The master of  Warren Place said: “Passage Of Time worked well this morning and is on course for her scheduled first run of the year in the Dahlia Stakes.”

Cecil added that the stanjamesuk.com Jockey Club Stakes on Sunday May 4 is under consideration for Tranquil Tiger.

He said: “Tranquil Tiger didn’t handle the very soft ground at Newbury in the John Porter but I’m sure his day will come. He could go for the (stanjamesuk.com)Jockey Club Stakes.”
