Channon positive about Nijoom Dubai

TRAINER MICK Channon is ready to take the wraps off Nijoom Dubai in the Leslie Harrison Memorial Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket tomorrow.
The Noverre filly, entered for the stanjamesuk.com 1000 Guineas, was last seen when springing a 50-1 surprise in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot.
She is set to go again in the seven-furlong Group 3 on The NatWest Rowley Mile and will take on 13 others.
Channon said: “The run on Wednesday will put her spot-on for the Guineas, but I am very pleased with her.
“She is working particularly well and the time she had off after Ascot might turn out to have been a blessing.
“She was coughing after that race and didn't quite come right again afterwards so we decided to ease off with her. I am sure that it was the right thing to do.”
