BENTLEY BISCUIT SET FOR FINAL WORK-OUT;

DE KOCK TO WORK DRAYTON AND IRRIDESCENCE

Tomorrow (Thursday, June 14) at 8.15am, South African trainer Mike De Kock will work his star filly, Irridescence, on Newmarket's July Course in company with his Royal Ascot challenger, Drayton.

Irridescence, who won the Queen Elizabeth II Cup (Group 1) in Hong Kong last year, is set to make her UK debut in the UAE Hydra Falmouth Stakes (Group 1), the feature race on the opening day of the Ritz Club July Festival on Wednesday, July 11. Drayton is set to contest either the Golden Jubilee Stakes or Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot.

At 7.00am on Friday, June 15, on the July Course, trainer Gai Waterhouse will supervise the final serious work-out for Bentley Biscuit ahead of his assault on the King's Stand Stakes (Group 2) and Golden Jubilee Stakes (Group 1), the British legs of the Global Sprint Challenge, at next week's Royal Meeting. The star Australian sprinter will then contest Europe's most valuable sprint race, the £375,000 Darley July Cup (Group 1), on the final day of the Ritz Club July Festival at the July Course on Friday, July 13.
