Return of the Sugababes

NEWMARKET Racecourses have today announced the sixth act to be confirmed for the 2007 Newmarket Nights with Q103 line up. The Sugababes will be performing at the July Course on Friday 29th June.
Thanks to three triple-platinum UK albums (‘Angels with Dirty Faces’, ‘Three’ and ‘Taller in Many Ways’,over 1.5 million singles sold in the UK including five number ones (‘Freak like Me’, ‘Round Round’, ‘Hole in the Head’, ‘ Push the Button’ and ‘Walk this Way’) a Brit Award, a Q Award, a Smash Hit Award and two Elle Style Awards, the Sugababes have secured their place in the British music history as the most successful girl band of recent times
Managing Director of Newmarket Racecourses, Lisa Hancock said “We are delighted to announce that the Sugababes will be performing at Newmarket Nights once again. They were immensely popular when they performed at Newmarket 3 years ago and I am sure they will be a huge success with our audience again in 2007.”
The Sugababes have gone through 2 line-up changes since forming in 1998, the most recent being in December 2005, when Amelle Berrabah joined Heidi Range and Keisha Buchanan as founding member Mutya Buena left the group. In
The girls have recently released the official Comic Relief single, as a duet with fellow UK girl band, Girls Aloud. A cover of the classic hit, "Walk this Way". Credited as 'Sugababes Vs Girls Aloud', the single was released on 12th March 2007 in the UK. The song became the band's fifth UK number one single.
